Il mascellone più amato dai punk rockers e dai metallari di tutto il mondo compie oggi gli anni: tanti, tanti auguri all'immane GLENN DANZIG! Glenn Allen Anzalone (così all'anagrafe), nasceva 62 anni fa nel New Jersey, e pensare uno come lui da vecchio si fa proprio fatica. Satanista, mezzo nazi, a furia di steroidi anabolizzanti era diventato una specie di Maciste del rock: vederlo ora, gonfio, fioco (lui, con la sua magnifica, morrisoniana voce da bluesman bianco) stringe davvero il cuore... Non ce ne vogliate, pur avendo fatto cose piu che egregie in seguito (ha avuto persino l'onore di scrivere per Johnny Cash e Roy Orbison!), per noi rimarrà per sempre il cantante dei mitici Misfits, l'autore di "Where eagles dare", "London Dungeon", "Astro Zombies", "Green Hell"! Ohhhh, Uoooohhhh, Ohhhh, Uoooohhhh...
