A volte capita che un uomo valga come icona, come simbolo, come frontiera: ecco GG ALLIN è stato esattamente ciò, è stato la frontiera estrema del rock'n'roll! Jesus Christ Allin, di cui oggi celebriamo l'anniversario della scomparsa per overdose (e del valore simbolico della celebre veglia funebre fatta di orrendi oltraggi e vilipendi al cadavere ci sarebbe da parlare a lungo...), rappresenta il limite invalicabile, oltre cui non si può andare, di completa aderenza all'estetica più nichilista e oltraggiosa del rock. Menare e farsi menare dal pubblico, cacare sul palco, vivere sempre ai limiti, eccedere in ogni senso, nei testi come negli abusi, hanno incarnato perfettamente (pure troppo) l'assioma "sangue e merda" che sta alla base dell'etica Pulp! Però, il nostro GG, il rock'n'roll lo sapeva fare, e bene!! Sentitevi roba come "Outlaw Scumfuc" o "Live fast, die fast" e poi ne riparliamo...
